Is Counselling confidential ?
The therapy will take place in confidential surroundings in my private practice . Your sessions are confidential and your privacy will be respected , however in accordance with the BACP code of ethics and statutory obligations to protect the safety of others and yourself I have a duty to recieve regular supervision by an experienced supervisor who is also bound by the ethical code of practice as set out by the BACP. In relation to supervision this is to ensure that the therapy I provide is of the highest standards confidentiality will be disscussed with you in the first session.
What happens if I cannot attend a session ?
I will offer you a regular appointment , once a week at a set time and day . The frequency of your attendance is an important part of your therapy. If you are unable to attend your appointment it is important that you let me know in advance . If one month notice is given you will not need to pay for your session.
What are the fees ?
I charge £45.00 per session and £25.00 for the assessment . You can either refer yourself or give consent to someone who knows you (e.g . your doctor )to make the referral for you.
